Privacy Policy

Accountie is operated by Lambda Works AB (org. nr 559539-3041), Sweden ("Accountie", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we process when you use Accountie or any related service we provide, and how we protect it. Accountie is a service for businesses.

What we process

To provide the service we process information such as: your account and contact details; the business, accounting and financial information you choose to make available to us; and documents or other materials you provide. Where you choose to connect a bank account or similar financial account, we also process the related account information (such as balances and transactions).

Bank account information (open banking)

If you connect a bank account or similar account, we access the account information through a third-party provider that is authorised and regulated under the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2) or equivalent regulation. This access is read-only and based on your explicit consent — we can view account information, but we cannot and do not initiate payments or move any money. You can withdraw your consent at any time through your bank or account provider, after which access stops.

Why we process it

We process this data to provide, operate and improve the services you have asked for, and related functionality. Our legal basis is the performance of our agreement with you, your consent (for account information), and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.

Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your data. We share it only with carefully selected service providers who help us run Accountie — such as cloud hosting, authentication, AI-based document or data processing, and a regulated open banking provider, or similar providers — and only as needed to deliver the service. A current list of these providers is available on request.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

Retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
